Comments (note: you can modify this field to share your own comments): I would like to urge the department of Dining Services to switch to the use of cage-free eggs. Battery hens spend their entire lives in horrific conditions, and the student body at NYU does not believe the University should be engaged in supporting this inhumane and unethical industry. The Inter-Residence Hall Council and the Food Advisory Board have passed resolutions calling for the switch, and your own surveys have indicated the dramatic student support for this move. Please join the hundreds of universities that have already taken a stand against cruelty.
